In my role supporting a contract with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, I had the honor of leading a groundbreaking initiative to bolster biomedical research in Africa through a strategic Data Science Funding Strategy.

In this role, I supported senior leadership in identifying key research areas that would benefit most from increased funding, with a special emphasis on diseases prevalent in low and middle-income African countries.

By fostering international collaboration among researchers and leveraging data science to maximize the impact of funding, we aimed to accelerate discoveries and improve health outcomes across the continent.

This initiative not only secured millions of dollars in support for critical biomedical research but also established a sustainable framework for ongoing international cooperation and knowledge exchange, showcasing our commitment to leveraging technology and innovation for global health advancement.
